Lunar is an invitiative highlighting key issues related to women and gender in Asia throughout different multimedia projects and a weekly newsletter.

What we do:
We are a team of a dozen of women from all around SCMP’s newsroom. With our diverse backgrounds, history and interests, we are dedicated to diversify voices within SCMP’s content, and spreading awareness on gender equality in the region.
Every week, we write a newsletter about a topical issue. Whether it’s about fashion, music, trends, politics, economy, at a local, regional or at a systemic level: we cover it all.
What I do:
Responsible for the editorial line of the newsletter
Represent the Lunar team in meetings within and outside the newsroom
In charge of the growth of the newsletter by creating new content within the project, new social media strategy, collaborations with different desks and partnerships with organisations.
Under my leadership, Lunar has expended to a podcast and a column.
Lunar has today 10,000+ subscribers.
